FounderAs Founder of Pienaar Projects, Joe provides hands-on leadership on every project. He oversees trades, schedules, and quality, ensuring work is done right, on time, and with clear communication every step of the way.
Carmela
Operations ManagerCarmela manages our back-office operations, overseeing administration, scheduling, finances, and marketing. From systems and processes to our website and client communications, she keeps everything organized and running smoothly behind the scenes.
Phil
Lead CarpenterOur lead carpenter, Phil, sets the standard on site. From structural work to fine finishes, he takes ownership of the carpentry so everything fits, functions, and looks exactly as it should.
Raj
Lead Drywall & PaintRaj leads our drywall and painting work, bringing the attention to preparation and finishing that makes the difference at the final stages of a renovation. From boarding, taping and finishing to painting and touch-ups, he helps ensure walls and ceilings are finished cleanly and professionally.
Lee
HandymanOur handyman, Lee, fills the gaps between trades, handling the small but critical tasks that keep the project moving forward and prevent delays and is always too busy to take a picture!
Opie Bear
Team Mascot & Chief Morale OfficerOpie is the heart of Pienaar Projects. While she’s not swinging a hammer, she’s always nearby, keeping spirits high and reminding us why care, patience, and consistency matter in every home we work in.
As a dog herself, Opie keeps us especially mindful of homeowners with pets. She represents our commitment to maintaining safe work zones, secure entry points, and calm, controlled job sites — ensuring pets, families, and trades are protected throughout the renovation process.
